The jar is decorated with a garden scene depicting immortals carrying various attributes, below the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, to the shoulder and a band of stylised cloud scrolls to the neck. The decoration is executed in slip and glazed in turquoise, yellow and mauve on a dark blue ground, with the interior glazed green. 9 5/8 in. (24.5 cm.) high.
