Set with an oval-cut ruby, weighing approximately 8.42 carats, to the marquise-cut diamond twin gallery and pavé-set diamond hoop, ring size 6, mounted in gold. With maker's mark DM for David Morris
Accompanied by report no. 13120070 dated 16 December 2013 from the Gübelin GemLab stating that the origin of the ruby is Burma (Myanmar), with no indications of heating, and two Information Sheets on 'Unheated rubies' and 'Rubies from Mogok, Burma'.
