the pear-shaped vase surmounted with a galleried mouth, decorated around the sloping shoulders with a border of scrolling foliate vines above naturalistically rendered flowers sprouting from leafy stems, with overlapping upright petals radiating from the spreading foot, covered in a transparent glaze tinged to blue; 23 cm, 9 in.
