of rectangular form, one side carved with a qilin gazing at the moon within a recessed panel, the reverse freely incised with a mountainous landscape and two moulded cylindrical tubes beside the spandrels, all raised on a stepped base, covered in an olive-green glaze, the unglazed base burnt red in the firing; 18 cm, 7 1/8 in.
