It was the third(N.3) of fourteen works of art by Piffetti in a lottery that took place in November 1779 in Turin, following his death. “N.3.Two commodes shaped as urns in walnut briar with four drawers with low profiles, in three rows resembling ribbons and ebony bands with gilt bronze mounts forming lion heads bearing rings in their mouth."
