the globular body rising to a tall cylindrical neck and a flared rim, boldly painted around the sides with three Buddhist lions playing with colorful brocaded balls tied with long ribbons, bordered at the shoulder by a broad band of scrolling chrysanthemum and peony blossoms, below upright ruyi-lappets, with a diaper and lappet band at the neck. Height 17 in., 43.3 cm
