sturdily-potted with rounded sides and lipped rim, painted in varying tones of underglaze blue in 'heaped and piled' technique, the central medallion with a floral meander, the stylized blooms borne on narrow stems with twisting leaves within a classic scroll band, the cavetto with a similar band of scrolling flowers, all enclosed by a keyfret border, repeated to the underside, the base and foot rim unglazed. Diameter 13 3/8 in., 34.2 cm.
