decorated on the interior with a medallion enclosing six bats soaring amidst curling lingzhi scrolls, encircled by a frieze depicted with further bats amidst lingzhi scrolls repeated on the underside, all decorated in underglaze blue with famille-verte highlights, the foot picked out in gilt with a band of wan symbols against a cobalt-blue ground, the base centred with a gilt-inscribed shou medallion
