22 kt gold pin with depletion gilding set with two Australian boulder opals (opals in matrix). The opals are cut into two quadrants and bisected on a vertical axis with gold set with soldered gold balls. Horizontally, they are banded at the top with three bars of gold which pierce the vertical axis. Eighteen kt clasp. (from card). Overall: 3.7 x 4.8 x 0.8cm (1 7/16 x 1 7/8 x 5/16in.)
