the rounded sides rising to an everted rim, the interior with a medallion of a carp leaping above crashing waves towards a flaming pearl, enclosed by a diamond border at the rim, the exterior with a band of fruiting branches and birds, the base with the inscription dong quan wang ji in underglaze blue.
