the broad shouldered globular body rising from a flat base to a short neck, painted around the exterior in a dark chocolate brown slip with two large quatrefoil panels, one enclosing a large scaly five-clawed dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl, the other enclosing a phoenix in flight amidst cloud scrolls, all divided by smaller cusped panels and below a broad foliate band reserved on a cream ground, the interior glazed chocolate brown.
