the globular body rising from a short foot to a tapering neck with lipped rim, painted with shaped cartouches variously enclosing peach, pomegranate, peony and chrysanthemum on stools wrapped with brocaded textiles, all below ruyi-shaped lappets decorated with smaller ruyi heads against a diaper ground, the neck similarly decorated, all divided by trellis, stiff leaf and keyfret bands, Japanese wood box.
