rising from a tapering foot, the interior moulded with a Buddhist lion and a beribboned brocade ball amidst floral scrolls, further surrounded by two chilong and cloud scrolls, applied with a creamy-white transparent glaze pooling in areas.
Note: A closely related dingyao dish in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, probably made from the same mould, was included in the Museum's exhibition Decorated Porcelains of Dingzhou. White Ding wares from the collection of the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 2014, p. 181, cat. no. II-118..
