The deep rounded sides decorated on the exterior with a wide band of foliate scroll enclosing six exotic blossoms in iron red, above a band of ruyi heads, all within blue line borders. 

Note: A very similar pair of doucai-decorated bowls from the Edward T. Chow collection was sold Sotheby's, Hong Kong, 19 May 1981, lot 554. See, also, a pair of similar Daoguang-marked doucai bowls sold in these rooms, 21 September 2000, lot 360.
