seated in dhyanasana, the left hand raised before the chest and the right arm lowered in varadamudra, wearing a shawl and dhoti opening at the chest to reveal a beaded necklace, the borders incised at the hems with lotus, the face with a benevolent expression, crowned by an elaborate headdress surmounted by an Amitabha Buddha.
