Lion and sun motif set with rubies, emeralds and rock-crystal, the reverse undecorated.

Note: The lion and sun motif is a heraldic symbol associated with the Safavid and Qajar rulers of Iran and alludes to a possible Shi'a patron. This jeweled plaque is thought to have been worn by Tipu Sultan.
