The vase is finely molded on the body with a continuous band of composite flower scroll below bands of plantain leaves and key-fret at the shoulder, and above chrysanthemum petals above the foot, all below a garlic-head-form mouth surrounded by ruyi-heads.
Provenance: Kate Sturges Buckingham (1858–1937) Collection, Chicago, before 1924.
