Each bowl is thinly potted with rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to an everted rim. The exterior is incised with a five-clawed dragon and a phoenix striding amidst cloud scrolls, covered overall with a brownish-purple enamel. The base and interior covered with a transparent glaze, box.
