The bulbous body and waisted neck are decorated in gilding reserved on a rich blue ground with variously decorated medallions set between a petal-lappet border at the foot, a band of flower scroll and shou characters on the shoulder, and ruyi and key-fret bands at the neck.
Provenance: Collection of James W. Kiriakaracos, London, 1920s, and thence by descent within the family.
