portrayed on an upturned lotus clad in a finely pleated sanghati draped over his right shoulder; his face framed by a fragmentary halo; his now missing palms displaying dharmachakra mudra with a kneeling adorant on his right, stand, Japanese wood box (3).

Provenance: Japanese Collection, acquired before the 1960s.
