Of characteristic compressed form flanked by a pair of dragon-scroll handles at the neck, the body of the moonflask is well painted with a central roundel comprised of a branch bearing peaches and a bat hovering above, surrounded by a composite floral scroll, below a band of trefoils and above lotus petal panels. The neck is decorated with two large lotus blooms and the foot with a scrolling lingzhi.
