the shallow flaring sides rising from a slightly tapering foot, the interior painted with five coral-red bats in flight, the exterior colourfully enamelled with stylised lotuses and anemones borne on foliate scrolls, all reserved on a bright lime-green ground, between pendant ruyi heads at the rim and pink petals springing from the foot, the underside inscribed with a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue.
