The vase is elegantly potted with a rounded lower body and a sloping shoulder that tapers to the tall, slender neck surmounted by a lobed garlic bulb-shaped mouth. The exterior is covered in rich, purple-magenta enamel,wood box.
Provenance: Private collection, Japan, formed in the 19th century.
