finely potted with shallow rounded sides rising from a straight foot to an everted rim, decorated on the interior with three archaistic phoenix encircling an Indian lotus spray, all within a double-line border repeated at the rim, the exterior painted and enamelled with four Indian lotus blossoms alternating with four phoenix, all between single- and double-line borders, with an alternating 'C'-scroll and dot-decorated band encircling the foot, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue.
