each well potted with deep rounded sides resting on a short foot, the exterior brilliantly enamelled in vibrant colours with three pink peony blossoms, each against a lemon-yellow ground, with curling foliated scrolls issuing stylised leaves and tendrils, all against a dark coral-red ground, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark.
