The surcoat is embroidered with four roundels of front facing five-clawed dragons striding amidst multi-coloured clouds. The shoulder roundels are further embroidered with the symbol for sun and moon.
Provenance: Rev. Jonathan Lees of the London Missionary Society, served between 1862-1900.
