the broad shallow sides supported on three mask-and-paw feet rising to an incurved rim, crisply molded to the exterior with the 'Eight Trigrams' between registers of deftly incised floral scroll and raised florets, all under an unctuous blue-green glaze save for the center impressed with a leafy floral spray and the protruding disc at the base, both burnt orange in the firing, wood cover and stand (3).
Provenance: East Coast Private Collection, acquired between 1930s-1960s (by repute).
