Each vase is decorated with panels of birds perched on peony and prunus branches, alternating with panels of butterflies and flowers, all in between decorative borders and below 'antiques' on the neck. Each cover is decorated with 'antiques' and surmounted by a bud-form finial, cloth boxes.
