A rare cast bronze jug of a globular body, resting on a flattened base, gently tapering from the mid-body to a short cylindrical neck with a flared rim. The curving spout ends in a dragon's head and the handle is in the form of a stylised dragon with an S-shaped body.

Provenance: Private London collection of Early Islamic Art - M.A.; formerly acquired on the UK art market since the 1980s.
