A pottery bowl of truncated conical form raising from a ring foot, decorated with a zoomorphic creature (lion?) with a curved body and upraised tail, painted in dark brown, yellow and green against white ground.
Provenance: Private London collection of Early Islamic Art - M.A.; formerly acquired on the UK art market since the 1980s.
