Finely and freely painted in varying shades of vibrant cobalt blue with a golden pheasant perched upon rockwork surrounded by lush peonies and branches of magnificent magnolia flowers, all between two double lines encircling the rim and base.
Provenance: Collection of Dr. Karl Ganter (1945-2007), Cologne, acquired in London from Bluett & Sons, Ltd., in the early 1980s (by repute)
