Important painted commode, Louis XV, attributed to J.W. VAN DER AUVERA (Johann Wolfgang van der Auvera, died 1756) and F. HUNDT (Ferdinand Hundt, 1704-1758), Wurzburg, circa 1735/40.
Exceptionally fine carved softwood with shells, garlands, scrolls, cartouches, leaves and frieze, painted red and parcel gilt. Replaced grey/pink speckled marble top. Paint restored. 145x66x80 cm. Estimation : 160 000 / 260 000 CHF
