The pair of hilts each cast in the form of a stylised coiled dragon with a tail in the form of a bird with a hooked beak, stands.

Provenance: Robert Rousset, Paris (1901-1981), acquired prior to 1935.
Jean-Pierre Rousset, Paris (1936-2021).
