with shallow rounded sides rising from a short tapered foot, finely moulded to the interior with a medallion enclosing four pairs of lotus blooms wreathed in dense foliage, encircled by a keyfret band and a broad band of foliate peony scroll around the cavetto, covered overall with a transparent creamy-white glaze pooling in characteristic teardrops down the exterior.
