each pear-shaped body rising from a short tapering foot to a tall flaring neck, applied around the neck with a freely-modelled sinuous chilong and covered overall with a translucent creamy-white glaze.

 

Provenance: Acquired from Edward T. Chow (1910-80) in the late 1960s.
