Earthenware horse standing foursquare on a rectangular base, with head slightly turned to the left, and mouth open to show the teeth. The head of the horse is crisply modelled with flared nostrils, large eyes and pricked ears, its powerful body well defined. The animal is covered with an irregularly splashed amber glaze, with a blaze of cream on the forehead. There is a groove running along its neck for the insertion of a horsehair mane and an aperture for a tail.

Glazed earthenware marbled cup, the rounded sides rising from a short, slightly splayed foot-ring to a gently flared rim, with a single loop handle to one side. The buff-coloured and dark brown layers of clay are twisted and folded to produce the marbled pattern. The cup is covered all over with an amber glaze stopping irregularly near the foot and exposing the buff earthenware body on the underside.

Sancai-glazed white earthenware jar of slightly compressed globular shape, supported on a splayed foot-ring and rising to a waisted neck with an everted galleried mouth. The exterior is splashed with green and amber glazes against a cream ground to form a continuous chevron pattern falling in streaks and stopping irregularly above the foot to reveal the buff-coloured body. The interior and exterior of the mouth are also splashed with amber and green glazes against cream to form an attractive dappled pattern.
