Un Van Gogh découvert à Zagreb
Vincent Van Gogh, Starry Night, 1889
ZAGREB, CROATIA.- Experts think they have found a painting by Vincent Van Gogh in the basement of a Croatian museum. The work had not been heard of before. Experts were looking through a collection at the Mimara Museum that had not been catalogued when they found the painting. The oil painting is signed “Vincent” in one corner and portrays five women and a girl in a forest in the Netherlands. Darko Glavan, a museum spokesman stated that a Dutch art expert confirmed the painting is a real Van Gogh work, and was probably painted in 1882. (courtesy www.Artdaily.org)
