A white jade pendant - Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th Century
Of thinly sectioned square form framed by reticulated animal designs and scrolls, the central circular reserve carved to one side with rocks and clouds raised in relief, and incised waves, reversed by four finely carved seal-script characters surrounded by a scroll band; the well-polished matrix of even white tone with areas of off-white inclusions. 2 1/8 x 2 1/4 (5.5 x 6cm) - Sold for $17,000 plus Premium and tax
