Shown seated in royal ease, his body enveloped in a heavy mantle incised with wave-patterned borders carved from a dark russet section of matrix and his benign face from a buff colored vein (repaired); the separate waisted rectangular plinth of gilt copper alloy finished with brightly hued cloisonné enameled lotus petal bands on a turquoise ground (wear). monk 3 3/8in (8.5cm) high - Sold for $4,000 plus Premium and tax
