A lemon yellow silk brocade lady's skirt - Late Qing Dynasty
Constructed in two sections and lined with identical fabric attached to a peach cotton waist band, each section embroidered with a vertical panel of beauties in a garden setting worked in bright colored threads against a couched gold thread background, dark turquoise satin border bands embroidered with figures in garden settings and the sewn-in folds of each section applied with lavender ground streamers hanging over sewn-down streamers constructed en suite, the hanging streamers lined with rose colored satin. 38in (96.5cm) long overall - Estimate: $600 - 900
