Nude photography is viewed with suspicion and prejudice in Vietnam, but award winning photographer Thai Phien believes passionately in its worth. 

Phien has spent 15 years shooting nude photos in a bid to prove his personal motto,

Beauty is Truth. 
With the launch of  Springtime, in December 2007, Phien declared,

"I am a passionate traveler who was sentenced to life imprisonment by beauty." 

Banned in Vietnam, this is the first public gallery exhibition of his

figurative photographs in the United States .
