A Ming-style White-glazed incised Moonflask
Made in imitation of 15th century prototypes, raised on a rectangular foot, the convex sides incised with a large stylized flower head surrounded by a narrow band of classic scroll repeated on the garlic mouth above the waisted neck, the pair of angled strap handles terminating on the plain sides in a pointed tab incised with a flower sprig, covered with a pale blue-tinted white glaze - 11 5/8 in. (29.5 cm.) high - $4,000 - $6,000
