An Egyptian pale green glazed composition shabti. 30th Dynasty, circa 400 B.C.
Carrying a pick and adze, with a twisted rope over the left shoulder attached to a seedbag, with a T-shaped hieroglyphic inscription for, 'Ptah-neb-Smen born to Nefer-heres', 4¾ (12.1cm) high, some discolouration, mounted. Estimate: £1,800 - 2,200 - Unsold.
Provenance: Collection of Dr John Winnie, St Mary's Georgia, USA.
