modelled in the form of a lotus flower, with two rows of petals, with a central Tibetan lanca character circled by two rows of ruyi, the exterior with the top row of petals with lanca alternating with flowers, on a raised foot; together with a small blue and white dish, Wanli Period, the interior painted with a band of ducks and flowers, below a band of lotus in reserve on a blue ground in the well, 14.9cm., 5 7/8in; together with a small blue and white bowl, Jiajing mark, Transitional Period, the exterior painted with a stylized design of chrysanthemum.
