A tall flambé-glazed bottle vase. 18th century
The globular body rising to a tall cylindrical neck, all supported on a straight footring, covered in a deep raspberry glaze suffused with streaks of purple and blue, the colour thinning at the lip revealing a pale buff crackled glaze, the base painted with a brown slip with mottling. 53.2cm (21in) high.
