A cloisonné-enamelled and gilt-bronze stupa. 18th century
The ovoid dome set on a waisted double-lotus plinth, raised on a waisted square pedestal enamelled with floral scrolls between petal lappets, the sides decorated with a band of monster masks suspending jeweled chains above lotus blossoms, surmounted by a ten-tiered shaft supporting a stylised parasol with fluttering ribbons, crowned with symbols representing flame, sun and moon. 15.5cm (6 1/8in) high. Estimate: HK$120,000 - 150,000, $15,000 - 19,000 - Unsold.
