Note: Ein blau glasiertes dou mit Qianlong Marke aus dem Viktoria and Albert Museum ist abgebildet bei Medley, T.O.C. S. vol. 31, 1957-59, Tafel 39a, samt Darstellungen solcher Gefäße aus einer Handschrift des Museums, Tafel 39c und Abbildungen aus dem Huangchao liqi tushi oder 'Illustrated Regulations for the Ceremonial Paraphernalia of the Ch'ing Dynasty', zuerst gedruckt 1766, Tafel 39d. Nach Medley hat Kaiser Qianlong 1748 verfügt, dass ein Gefäß, welches im Tempel des Himmels genutzt werden sollte, aus blauem Porzellan zu bestehen hatte. Diese Gefäße wurden zum ersten Mal zum Anlass der Wintersonnenwende zur Darbringung des Himmelsopfers 1748 verwendet. Ein weiteres blau glasiertes Qianlong dou ist abgebildet bei Gulland, Chinese Porcelain, vol. ll, Abb. 789 und ein Paar aus dem Metropolitan Museum of Art findet sich bei Valenstein, A Handbook of Chinese Ceramics, 1975, Tafel 162 - Sehr gut erhalten
