A large partial gilt bronze seated Buddha. Ming Dynasty

His serene face displaying on the forehead a tiny urna while the another urna rises at the base of his ushnisha and a wanzi character is etched across his chest, his exposed skin finished in gilt and his clothing delicately incised with a lotus and leaf scroll band.  12in (30.5cm) high. Estimate: $3,000 - 4,000
