The semi-translucent pale green jadeite with rich green patches, measuring approximately 40.9 x 29.5 x 12.54m, carved as a monkey with a pepper and with a lotus flower to the back, suspended from a semi-translucent pale green jadeite carved belcher-link necklace, the pendant and necklace all carved from a single jadeite piece, pendant length 4.0cm, necklace length 60cm. Sold for HK$437,500

Accompanied by a certificate from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory, stating the carved necklace is natural jadeite and no resin was detected. Report number KJ 64463, dated 12 August 2011
