NEW YORK.- The Renaissance painting Mary with Child. The artwork had been admitted for consideration to Sothebys in New York, USA, according to media reports, when experts of the auction house found out that it originally belonged to the collection of the National Museums Gemaeldegalerie in Berlin, Germany. The Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation said that the US owner immediately decided to return the artwork.
